The Florida Panthers are still waiting on key pieces to return from injury.
Forwards Matthew Tkachuk and Brad Marchand will remain out when the Panthers play the Senators on Saturday night, per head coach Paul Maurice.
Meanwhile, forward Sandis Vilmanis, 21, will make his NHL debut while Sergei Bobrovsky gets the start in net.
Marchand left Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after a big hit from Bobby McMann near the end of the second period and did not return for the third. After the loss, Maurice said Marchand "has been dealing with something, and it got to the point where we didn't want to make it worse."
The 37-year-old has 23 goals and 23 assists through 41 games this season.
Tkachuk hasn't played sinceĀ Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final due to injuries he sustained while playing for Team USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off last February. The 28-year-old went through the summer trying to rehab but eventually decided that he needed the surgery.
Vilmanis has eight goals and 11 assists in 31 games with the AHL's Charlotte Checkers this season.
